This was my first time in Chamonix and didn’t know what to expect with regards to the apartment and the location of the apartment. The owners website had lots of really useful information on it which made getting around Chamonix and getting to the slopes really easy. The direct bus to Brevent was only a five minute walk around the corner, the bus that took us directly to Chamonix Sud for our connections to the other resorts was directly outside the apartment and Les Planards was only a five minute walk, which was particularly useful as we had two beginners with us. Snostation and the owners were also very quick in responding to our queries and helping us out with getting ski passes organised and giving advice on which ski areas would best suit us. There is also a ski locker in the basement which was great for storing all our equipment.

There were four of us staying (all men) and the accommodation suited us perfectly. The apartment was very clean and tidy, the rooms were spacious enough and the beds and bedding was very comfortable (even the bunk bed which had two 6ft 2 inch guys sleeping on it). The location was also great as it was just a few minutes walk to the start of the bars and restaurants.

Next time I head back to Chamonix I will definitely be trying to stay here again!

We had the time of our life! The apartment was clean and tidy with breathtaking views right from the balcony.The location was perfect, away from the noise of the bustling town yet a short walk away and very close to the cable cars with a bus stop right outside! David the owner was a pleasure to talk to. He always answered back promptly and was ever so helpful. SnoStation were also very helpful. Our only regret was that the apartment was only available for one week- we would have stayed for 3 weeks! We'll definately be back!

We were very pleased with the apartment and the services provided by Snostation. The initial booking itself was very easy and the back up service dealing with our queries and requests was dealt with, with great efficiency. It is a bright modern apartment in a superb location, just five minutes walk of most of the bars and restaurants in the town centre. And offers stunning views over both sides of the valley. We would recommend this apartment any of our friends and would rent it again if we ever visit Chamonix again in the future.

'A Little Gem'
We spent a great week at 'Astor' with our two children (7 and 10). A great apartment, very tastefully decorated, and only a 5 minute walk to the centre of town.

The apartment was very easy to find, with good parking and close to all the amenities.
After a busy day our children loved the fact that they could play on a Wii (with games suitable for different ages in the drawer) or watch a DVD before bed (also a selection of films in the apartment for varied ages if you didn't have your own).
The owners were very quick to respond to questions before we went, and very kindly e-mailed us both when we arrived and left at the end of the week.

Great stay in a lovely well equipped apartment - although hosts not based there the local management company SnoStation very helpful plus excellent comms from David before hand. Good location and plenty of useful local intel included in the info pack. Strongly recommended. We will be back!

Our first time renting through air bnb and it turned out to be a very simple and satisfying experience, communications with our host prior to travelling and arranging the handover on arrival were prompt and informative which gave us confidence in the whole process.
The apartment is accurately described with an enviable location within easy walking distance of Chamonix centre and the views from the balcony are simply stunning.

The equipment provided throughout was in good working order and the standard of cleanliness as high as you would expect, we were a party of four adults and found the apartment to be plenty big enough to be comfortable.
Would we stay again? Yes is the answer!

Matches the pictures perfect - great for up to four people. Near town - can just walk in minutes to city centre or Aiguille du midi. Fast wifi-access and locked reserved car garage parking. Would definitely stay there again. The host David was very helpful.

This was our 3rd trip to Chamonix and we stayed at the Astor, and we'd happily come back here. The apartment was spacious and tastefully decorated, with comfortable beds and a decent shower, a necessity after a day on the slopes.

It was also very convenient for the ski bus, and we used the Easybus airport transfer for the first time this year which drops you off at the Chamonix train station, a 5 minute walk from the apartment.

Overall a very positive experience and would recommend to anyone visiting Chamonix!
